Ostrich

This drawing is of an Ostrich captured at the Lion Park, West of Johannesburg. I love the intensity of the stare of this Ostrich and how it was captured on film. It’s almost unnerving in that we all know the nature of these birds and you never know what to expect. It’s either a “PECK” at your window or a sudden scatter of feathers and clumsy oversized legs... Beautiful nonetheless.

Jozi-04

This painting is of the famous Nelson Mandela Bridge heading towards Newtown. (“I Love Jozi”). The metro rail may be seen on the left side through the glass balustrade hugging the pedestrian bridge.

This painting is of the Jozi city-scape as seen from the highway. Capturing a Bakkie in movement and a side view of the Nelson Mandela bridge. This particular photo has inspired my journey into the whole collection of Jhb City-scapes.
