This is the Famous Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton City, Johannesburg, South Africa. The work was commissioned by Liberty Property through The Gallery On The Square. I am very honoured to have been part of this project and to be given the most attractive of all their properties to do. The Square is the hub of the Johannesburg "Urban Jungle". It draws thousands of tourists each year to glimpse the famous statue of Nelson Mandela which was erected in March 2004 in honour of this powerful/inspirational South African Figure.
